The entire hiring process took about nearly 2 months. Step 1, email from a recruiter to let you reply with work eligibility and experience in target country. step 2, writing exercise, four open questions; you need to submit in an hour. step 3, phone interview with the recruiter; he asked me general questions including why applied Indeed, why this position, etc. step 4, Skype interview with a sub-division international development manager; more in-depth questions, math & logic combined. step 5, on-site interview; finally met the recruiter. He showed me their buildings, dining room, different departments, then led me to a small room and prepared me a "souvenir" bag. There were 4 people interviewing me, each took about ~30 mins; content covered an in-depth observation of Indeed products, competitors, things to improve, SEO, writing test (a short report for team leader to review)...of course, another a group of math test.
Summary: I understand the company really wanted to select the best qualified people because they seemed treating their employees pretty good (average pay, relax environment, dining, snacks, benefit,...), so I was always behaving patiently and passionately. But Indeed team were not, the four people who interviewed me face-to-face and the manager on Skype all seemed tired, bored, sluggish. Also, the recruiter repeatedly reneged his promises to give me the interview result.
Interviewing with Indeed was the most time/effort/passion-consuming thing during my 5-month job seeking. Although the ending was disappointing, I am not regretting for going through this and many others. Always learning!
