I applied online and the Indeed recruiter contacted me and we coordinated a time for an initial phone interview. After confirming a time by e-mail in the morning for a call that afternoon, they failed to call. Another Glassdoor reviewer described a similar experience with an Indeed recruiter, so I had already anticipated something similar might happen. After waiting 25 minutes and needing to return to work, I sent another e-mail suggesting we try again another day.
After rescheduling and confirming a time for a half hour phone interview later in the week, the recruiter finally called -- 15 minutes late. After some talk about Indeed, the position, and my skills, the recruiter asked about my expertise level in a technology that I later pieced together was likely a requirement for a different position posting with a similar title. I asked if the direction of position had changed since I applied, but they were already in the process of wrapping up the call. I haven't heard back from them, and I was so disappointed with the experience I didn't bother to follow up.
