After the recruiter call, I spoke with the hiring manager and got an exercise to work on -- solve a challenge of their product. Next round, I had the video chat with a few interviewers.
While presenting my solution, I did not feel my work or time was respected. The exercise was time-consuming, but the interviewers weren't friendly or engaging while I was presenting my solution.
One week later, I received a rejection letter simply stating the quality of my work was not meet their bar. I did not see how their work or attitude defined their bar.
I felt the hiring team was very biased since the beginning. They gave me the interview as if they had to do it. The process seems just to validate that I can't be a good candidate, based on their pre-judgement.
