I submitted a coverletter, my resume, and a general online application to IKEA to be an HR generalist. After a month, I received an E-Mail from the store HR manager requesting a phone call to discuss my resume. The phone call consisted of me talking about my retail HR experience, and how I handle general HR situations (harassment, job offers, recruiting, etc.)

The process included a first-round video(Teams) interview and a second-round face-to-face interview. I was asked in-depth questions about my motivation for joining IKEA, and I made an effort to respond with specific and thoughtful answers.

Ho fatto due colloqui per lo più motivazionali e conoscitivi ma non sono passata alla fase successiva, quindi non so se nelle altre fasi vengano richieste competenze più tecniche. In ogni caso l'ambiente è informale e si dà molta importanza alla personalità del candidato e alle sue motivazioni a prendere parte alla realtà aziendale
