why should we hire you

Question was about market sizing. Different way of asking it because it actually applies to a market they have or are currently doing research in. Estimate market size for wells in the United States, all we know is the sales from the company that our client (I knew the PE firm owner that the case was for as he referred me to IGS) is looking to acquire. So initially I asked the sales, he gave it to me in units(25k). I asked if we knew a percentage allocation from city sewer water to well water, he said no. I asked if sales breakdown by geographic region, he said that was't relevant. SO I then asked if we a specific license was required to install wells. He said last year there were 1000 licenses. Then said we should call these people, survey how many each installed, and thats exactly what they did. Answer was 25 per pear.
