IFF Account Manager interview questions

Scheduled an interview and could tell from the beginning that the hiring manager was not seriously considering me for the role and kept asking me why I wanted the position and why I was interested even after I answered it several times. Mentioned initially interested in my background and wanted to get me into the mix for diversity but continuously told me I was not the candidate they were looking for which left me a bit confused why interview me in the first place if you already knew there was no chance for hire. I appreciated the time and interest I suppose but it felt like I wasn't given a real shot
