The interview process consisted of 5 rounds, including an initial recruiter screen. Overall, the process was structured and straightforward, but a bit slow.
1. Recruiter Phone Screen – Brief discussion about my background, role expectations, and interview logistics.
2. Hiring Manager Interview – Focused on my experience, past projects, responsibilities, and overall fit. Mostly behavioral and background-oriented questions.
3. Product Manager Interview (Product Sense) – Typical product thinking questions, such as: What is your favorite product? How would you improve it? How would you measure success?
4. Designer Interview – Focused on cross-functional collaboration and working with design teams. Questions covered experience with design research studies, communication style, approach to user experience, and collaborative problem-solving.
5. Engineering Lead Interview – Mixed cross-functional and technical discussion, centered around working with engineering teams, prioritization, technical trade-offs, and some basic engineering concepts (not deeply technical).
