Interview
I attended IBM employee referral drive on 19th Feb at CMR Engineering College, Hyderabad.On 19th firstly they verified call letter and mark sheets.After that all students assembled in seminar hall and HR madam gave a speech regarding hiring process.First round is written.It consists of three assessments.
1)Ipat means it consists of 18 Number series questions and 18 Aptitude Questions.For these questions i suggest to all to follow Q4Interview and M4maths.Try to solve all mock tests,i think in q4interview you will find all kinds of patterns as well in M4maths also.I think everyone knows the pattern.Each question having of time 2.15 min and if u r not able to answer such three questions,your test get locked.so please try to answer all questions within time.In order to answer all questions within time only mantra #practice.
2)Kenexa means it's Business communication test u need to answer 22 questions in 20mins.In this section no timer.U have to see on your own watch.Please refer Q4interview for this section.U will get all questions with answers.It's very nice website for apti nd English.
3)Hirevue,it's java based programming.We have compile two test cases in 45 mins....Please try to learn all programs.You will get all programs in BJS group in face book.This is the best ever group for job seekers.After 45 mins they announced results.Finally 37 students cleared written out of 250 candidates.I'm the one in shortlisted list.Those who shortlisted in written call for document verification and bio-metrics,there we have to show our originals.We have to upload our documents in IBM portal.Finally they said that we have attend tech+hr on 21st Feb at 9Am.My sincere suggestion is to concentrate aptitude nd english more...
Interview-I reached the venue at 8:30 and seated in seminar hall.After 45 mins hr sir came and announced panels.Mine was 5th and i'm second in the list.My turn came and entered into interview hall

He appraised me and told to do in future as same and finally asked any questions,asked.He explained in very good manner.
Finally gave hand shake to interviewer nd told thanks.
Mine was very nice and interviewer sir so cool.The best ever interview i had.
My sincere suggestion is to maintain smile till end of interview that makes u confident.
After three days of interview got EOI from IBM.Waiting for D.O.J....

It was great ez they asked me pretty basic stuff such as palindrome and string manipulation and the interviewer was a bit frank with me he and i did some chit chat for a bit as occured that we were from same town

Question 1
The one thing that they asked me was what technology are u familiar with that IBM uses
The process was okay but the result of the interview took so much time. NO reply to the mails as well. interview was offline and has 3 different rounds. one language round, then coding round and then interview.
First round was a language round that was conducted online. We were asked multiple simple questions in English to test our listening, speaking and reading skills. The next round was a coding assessment round. We were shown two questions of easy-medium level difficulty from the competitive coding website Hacker Rank. The 3rd round was a behavioral assessment round where we were given 5 questions and for each question we were allotted 5 mins to answer before the system automatically submits and goes to the next question. The questions were similar to "Explain about a situation where your leadership allowed for a problem to be solved" etc. The last round was the interview round where they asked both technical and non technical questions. The technical questions that were asked where from the projects we have made that were noted down on our resumes.
