IBM Consultant interview questions

The interview process ended up taking longer than I initially expected, with several rounds spread out over time. It included classic questions like ‘Why IBM’ and ‘Tell me about yourself,’ along with a few case-based questions that focused on evaluating my analytical thinking, communication skills, and how I approach solving complex problems.

1. Application Submission: Begin by submitting your resume and application through IBM’s careers portal. 2. Initial Screening: If your application meets the criteria, a recruiter may conduct a preliminary interview to discuss your background, motivations, and fit for the role. 3. Assessments: • Recorded Video Interview Assessment: In certain regions, you might be asked to complete a recorded video interview.  • Online Coding Assessment: For technical roles, such as Developer or Data Scientist positions, an online coding test may be required.  4. Case Interview: This stage evaluates your problem-solving abilities through business scenarios. You’ll be expected to analyze a case study and propose solutions, demonstrating your analytical and strategic thinking skills. 5. Behavioral Interview: Conducted by practice leads or senior consultants, this interview focuses on your past experiences, teamwork, leadership qualities, and how you align with IBM’s values.
