They asked me the logic for some basic programs which wasn't hard and about my projects on my resume. Some people were asked questions on DBMS and OOPS as well. They also asked me questions related to the company which was mostly just general knowledge of the company. They asked me about my interests and goals too.
I applied through college or university. I interviewed at IBM (Calcuta) in Jan 2025
Interview
My interview at IBM was a very positive and enriching experience. The interviewer was extremely polite and created a comfortable environment, which helped me stay calm throughout the process.
It was a combined Technical and HR interview. The questions were primarily based on my resume, including the projects I’ve worked on and the technologies I’m familiar with. The interviewer also asked several behavioral questions to understand my mindset, how I approach problems, and how I work in a team.
I was also asked to write a piece of code during the interview. After writing it, I was asked to explain the logic step by step, which allowed me to showcase my problem-solving and communication skills.
Overall, it was a smooth experience, and I appreciated how the interviewer balanced both the technical and personal aspects during the interaction.
