I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Honda (Washington, DC) in Apr 2014
Interview
Met with a panel first, followed by a one on one with a VP. Interview process was very fair, I felt like i was given a good overview of the job and requirements. The company has a very open approach--everyone works in a cube and it seems like a supportive atmosphere. At the same time, a few people told me that the environment can "stagnate" for some when they stay for too long because the company never fires anyone. The VP I met with was very insightful, fair, and perceptive. Probably a great company to work for, just not the right job for me at the time. Being a fan of Honda products definitely helps. A writing test was involved which was fairly rigorous.

Question 1
They gave a writing test which was roughly 2,500-3,000 words, and to be completed in 1.5 hours.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Honda (Los Angeles, CA) in Feb 2019
Interview
Three separate in-person interviews. 1/2 hour each. Most kept to time exactly.
All interesting conversations and I learned alot about the role. The interviewers all seemed very positive and I believe I was a finalist for the position. The only reason they get a thumbs down is because after the final interview, there was NO communication at all. Even after I wrote three times to the recruiter trying to find out if I did or did not get the position.
