Got called over the phone (Holiday Inn by Toronto international airport) to set up f2f interview. First interview went well then immediately went into a second interview with a Human resources. It went really well also, it seemed like i made good impressions with them and they were very professional.
Two days later, Human resources called/emailed me to do a 3rd interview with the Big cheese and a manager. I thought that it would be just a formality, a couple of behavioral questions and then the job offer. The manager at this 3rd interview was very professional BUT I could not say the same with the Big Cheese(can't say the position title per Glassdoor). I felt belittled as he/she dissected my resume. I myself reviewed and had my resume professionally reviewed to ensure clarity. But he/she did not seem to understand some of the duties and responsibilities in my previous jobs as well as questioning the dates, I explained the seasonality in my former airline jobs and layoffs that came with it. If you get laid off, you work for another company. So the dates seem to overlap because both airline jobs I held ovelapped and both were seasonal. The manager did not have an issue and he/she understood. But the Big Cheese's tone of voice and mannerism did not set well with me. I understand employers need to ask questions to clarify anything on your resume but the way he acted was VERY unprofessional almost to the point accusing me of lying. I could not wait to get out of there, after I shook their hands and immediately left the room! I know I did not get the job even if I did, I would not work there.
