Hilton Restaurant Server interview questions

Interviewed by Human Resources department over the phone, then in person. The interviewed by three managers and a food and beverage director. Then, a final interview was conducted by the Assistant General Manager. Everyone was very polite and professional at all times. The interviews were short but thorough. A comfortable process.

I attended career fairs and did not get interviewed. I ended up last both times and by then interviewers were tired and uninterested. I waited hours to be dismissed. I will not accept another interview. I was invited to a career fair to interview at the Diplomat in Hollywood, FL. I waited almost tweo hours to be greeted and dismissed without a real interview. But was told to watch their website and I might be asked for a second interview. I was emailed instructions for a second interview by Hire -Vue. It is an app in which you video tape your interview. A week later I received a rejection email from the Diplomat and an invitation to a career fair on Ft. Lauderdale Beach. You had to call and accept the invitation, but are told to show up any time. I arrived early afternoon only to wait 3 and a half hours in a crowded room with over a hundred applicants, not for an interview, but to be told the position was filled and to check back in September. This company may treat hotel guests like royalty, but the unashamedly manner in which they treat potential employees is disgraceful. Hilton Worldwide will not waste any more of my time.
