Very encouraging recruiter interview for this newly created role at Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence division. Then I realized that they had two very different job posts for the same job, about a month apart. The first one was for a true content manager, the second was completely re-written to be about hiring someone to create everything with AI. Which was which? Lots of back and forth and confusion on their part. I told the recruiter that I really didn't think I was qualified for the new description, but she did a lot of ooing and awing over my portfolio, which was kind, and strongly encouraged me to keep going. One interview with Demand Gen later, and then a "no-reply" rejection that I had to actually chase down myself. Apparently, my instincts were correct. The one good thing out of this experience, however, was that I used to have this idea that Hexagon was this amazing company that I just "had" to get into one day. Followed them for years. Well, this cured my "Hex fever." LOL Now I know. I wish them luck.
