Definitely an interesting experience. I was contacted by a recruiter via LinkedIn, who was very friendly, informative, and professional. The same recruiter then scheduled a time to talk over the phone regarding the position and company. On the call we scheduled a time for an in-person interview at the office. I then went into the San Diego office where I had a 45 minute 1:1 interview with another recruiter followed by a 45 minute "ride-along" to shadow someone currently in the role I was applying for. Definitely learned a lot from that. The position involves making a lot of calls and long hours, but the people seem really motivated and cool. I then had to come in another day for the next round, which was a panel interview with sales executives, where I was asked to present a brag sheet that I prepared beforehand. Afterwards, I was told that I would have to come in one more time for a 1:1 interview with the director of sales and that someone would reach out the next day to schedule a time for that. Instead of a scheduling email, I received a template email stating that I did not receive an offer. Overall, pretty solid interview experience with recruiters who are determined to find individuals that would be happy in this difficult role. They were really honest about the challenges of the role, which was very appreciated.
