Hays Recriter interview questions

Teams call. Then they invite you into the office, tell you about the company. Tell you how they value DEI and other initiatives they do then Q&A with a director, then 3 role plays. The process is not difficult but it isn't a real interview they hold them to test the market and see what the candidate market is like. They might also do them to keep their existing recruiters on their toes and maybe also to just collect data.

What went well Built rapport quickly with both partners, and they seemed engaged. Highlighted my recent experience leading client work and managing juniors. Felt confident on technical questions – no curveballs. What could be improved Could have prepared stronger examples of commercial awareness. Missed the chance to ask more questions about the firm’s strategic direction. Slightly rushed closing answer when asked “why us.”
