I applied online for the HRG role and received a phone call from the recruiter a few days later. During the call, I was asked three questions: if I knew the location of their offices, whether I was comfortable with the commute, and if the salary range they provided was within my expectations. After successfully answering these questions, the recruiter immediately informed me that I would need to take and pass a personality assessment test to proceed in the hiring process. However, it's been proven that personality tests are biased against certain individuals, and many employers have stopped using them altogether. As a result, I decided not to take the assessment and chose to pursue opportunities with another organization that values my background, experience, degrees, and certifications as qualifications for hiring.
