I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at HSBC (Pune) in Sep 2010
Interview
I had an initial knowledge of HSBC GLT. The interview process was planned and systematic. I had to wait a bit for the 2nd round (Technical interview), but it went well. Questions were only from my previous work experience. Then it followed with an HR round. I had to wait for an week for the offer, as they had earlier intimated. I got the hard copy within days after that. I can recall Celestine Fernandes, HR, with whom my interaction was very delightful. I had my doubts and he cleared them in no time. Look forward to join and have a great career with HSBC GLT :)

The interview process was smooth and well-structured. It consisted of multiple rounds (4rounds), including an initial HR screening followed by 2 technical and 1 managerial interviews. The interviewers were professional, friendly, and focused on assessing problem-solving skills, business analysis knowledge, communication, and relevant work experience. The questions were practical and role-specific, and the overall experience was positive. The process took longer than expected, but communication from the recruitment team was courteous throughout.
