The interview expectations were completely unrealistic. The focus was on bookish, memorized answers rather than real-world problem-solving. In today’s development world, no one writes code purely from memory or recalls every single method — that’s why we have documentation and tools. Instead of assessing practical skills, the process felt outdated and pointless. Interviewers clearly lacked the ability to identify real talent, which made the entire experience a waste of time. The interviewers are fit to take interviews for freshers not for experienced resources.
