There were three rounds:
1. Written (MCQs, 15min, 20qns)
2.Technical Interview
3.Technical Interview (Manager/Director)
It was a one day process and I appeared for all the rounds and the review from the panel was positive.
Though there were no arrangement for refreshments and it was quite late in the evening, but still I was having a good time.
Then the HR had a quick word - what is your expectation? when can you join us?
And she was like ...2 months of notice period ...that will be quite late..so in case you are fine with other projects we shall proceed.
I din't had any problem, so the conversation ended with..HR team will get back to you.
Second week was about to end and I dropped an email. Did not got any response so I called the HR. First thing the HR mentioned... your notice period is too long. When I argued that in that case they shouldn't have called me or at least inform me with whatever decision they have taken. She was out of words and told me that my review was not that great, I argued that I am aware of my feedback and she flipped again telling we have few more positions in coming months....you will get a call.
HARMAN,...if you can wait..please call only the candidates who are serving their notice period...and mention this in the JD...our time is really precious...we can't afford to waste our weekend just for nothing.
