Two rounds were F2F. First round, it was okay. It was about my earlier projects and so on. Gave some scenario based questions which went well. Second round was taken by 19 year experienced Director. Initially I thought it was psychometric test, but later I felt it was more for rejection. The role required Machine Learning and the questions were predominantly in Multi Linear Regression.
When I failed to answer, he simply told you are weak(Before even joining the company and not knowing the strengths of the person). Also please reject the candidate if the salary is beyond your benchmark. When I told my salary was so and so, he simply told that for your experience we cannot give the current salary and we may have to renegotiate to a lower level which I politely declined.
