First round was an on campus interview, second round consisted of 3 back to back interviews. All the interviewers were very pleasant and the atmosphere was relaxed.
I applied through college or university. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Grant Thornton (Denver, CO) in Oct 2012
Interview
I met GT on campus at a recruiting event, submitted my resume and ended up getting a first round interview. I went to a recruiting event in town the night before the first interview and got to know one of the senior partners, he was very personable and he seemed to be very genuine. I ended up interviewing with the same senior partner that I had dinner with the night before, I was his last interview for the day and he still seemed interested and I didn't feel rushed at all.
After first rounds I was contacted for second round interview--they were accommodating to my travel requests. They put me up in a nice hotel and had a dinner the night before the interviews. I ended up sitting next to a regional partner and had no idea that he was so high up until interviews the next day when I saw regional partner next to his name. He was very nice and personable as well. The interviews were essentially behavioral, they were just making sure you would be a right fit for them
Because I ended up getting an offer to a different office than the one to which I applied, the offer process was a little hectic. I was only given 2 weeks to decide and because of some complications with other companies and my schedule I wasn't able to attend second rounds elsewhere. However, I felt comfortable accepting the offer and felt that they were accommodating in as much as it was possible.
