I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Google (Palo Alto, CA) in Oct 2015
Interview
I was fast tracked and did well in all interview rounds. Interviews were generally complex and questions were geared to learn about the way you think and problem solve. A recruiting screen took place followed by an in person interview with a EA. I received a call the same day to set up an in person interview with 2 additional admins. Those both went well and on the spot I was asked if I could stay to meet with a Director and VP to expedite the process. Within a few days I met with an analyst who asked 3 tough questions. Within days my hiring packet was approved and and offer was made.

The prorcess was very professional. Went through 3 rounds of interview, all online. Prepare very thoroughly if you want to make it through. They know when you are not prepared so don’t just try to wink it.

I applied online. I interviewed at Google (Seattle, WA)
Interview
Interview process was great. Definitely research the process online as others have described their process and how to thoroughly respond to interview questions. Was then placed in a “pool” waiting on team interviews, never got a call back. Suspect there wasn’t really an opening or was filled internally. Was told to continue to follow up, which I did. It’s been years now and my application was closed.
