Great and easy conversation. Manager was very nice and easy to talk to. Was more like a typical conversation than an interview. After the interview we actually went through a few exercises and I had to write out a training plan for different individuals.
I applied in-person. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Gold's Gym (San Diego, CA) in May 2011
Interview
The interview with the Head Trainer was quick b/c I already met him by accident on the gym floor before I had an interview with him. I was working out with a friend, trying new exercises out, when the Head Trainer took notice to what we were doing and executing correctly. However, he wasn't in uniform, so I didn't know he was the Head Trainer. He simply told me he worked there at first. We had a good talk and even showed each other different exercises. Then he finally told me he was the Head Trainer and needed new Trainers b/c of new management at the time. He asked me to come in for an interview that same week... So you never know when a job interview can be happening.

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Gold's Gym (San Antonio, TX)
Interview
It was a pretty easy-going interview. They did ask lots of questions, but it wasn't intimidating. It lasted a little over 30 minutes. They were really just trying to get to know me and see if i would be a good fit for the enviroment.
