I applied online. I interviewed at Glovo (Barcelona) in Jan 2022
Interview
Somehow a weirdly unique experience of 6 days spent in interviews with no final result/feedback available.
Applied in Nov 2021, during Dec 2021-Jan 2022 had 6 1h-1.5h interviews as described in other posts (algo, experience, system design, behavioral, architecture), not counting multiple recruiter calls in between. The interviewing folks were friendly and complaining about the mess caused by sudden growth. The technical part was somewhat average, and it went as favorable as I can tell. Even the risky part, which typically makes confrontation (the system design and behavioral, which was done by really inexperienced folks, but I got impression that I delivered what they wanted).
All interviews went favorable and on separate days.
After that they disappeared and in some 2 weeks I got an email "we're sorry you chose to withdraw from the process". When asked a recruiter WTF, I got a response - we've yet to get a final decision tomorrow, please ignore this email. Then the recruiter disappeared for another two weeks. No feedback.
Not sure what else to say. Looks like 500mln$ spending trying to pretend they're special. And they are, in a way.

Question 1
6 interviews as described in other posts (algo, experience, system design, behavioral, architecture), imitating Google interview .
Had a call with the HR manager, he introduced the company and its plans, asked about my motivation and experience. The conversation was friendly and polite. I received clear answers to all my questions. However, I didn’t feel any particular interest in me as a candidate. One of the questions seemed a bit suspicious, what would I do if a production issue occurred on a Friday evening.
The response from the company came the next day, automatically, from a no-reply address. That made it impossible to ask for immediate feedback or any follow-up questions.
To me, receiving an automatic response from a no-reply sender is somewhat telling about the internal culture.

Interview
Leetcode-style question with a clever twist, incorporating unique constraints and edge cases. The solution includes thorough unit test coverage and insightful discussions on multi-threading, concurrency control, synchronization techniques, potential race conditions, and performance trade-offs in real-world, production-grade scenarios.

Interview
I had a two-step interview. The first was a casual chat about my background and what I’m looking for. The second was a live coding session with a medium problem, followed by questions on time and space complexity and how a HashMap works under the hood

What is the time and space complexity of your solution?
