The very first call with recruiter was nothing special. Got the usual questions like “Why you want to work here”, “Tell about yourself” etc. Received an automatic reply the next day saying they won’t proceed with my application because of some visa sponsorship issues. I don’t even know how they decided that I need any sponsorship (which I don’t) or any additional documents (which I don’t) without even looking at the documents I have. The other “surprise” was a particular phrase in the email where they recommended me to “take a look at the positions available in my country”. I got really offended by this comment which I think is chauvinistic and unacceptable. Besides that, there was no option to reply to the email so after some consideration I decided not to bother - there is no sense to work in such an environment.
