I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Glovo in Jul 2019
Interview
Startups are fast-pacing environments where decisions must be taken on the fly. An interview with Glovo stands up for that, but with sound mistakes that you don't find in recruiting in other tech companies of its size and speed.
Initial recruiter was charming and well organized. She explained the position and requirements and made a somewhat initial screening.
Next step was to get an interview with a VP. This statement was misleading because instead of being an interview, it was another screening, so all preparation I had done for that was useless and found myself very confused about what was the goal of the call. This impacted a lot on my performance.
Also, the interviewer was late, with bad internet connection (was done over hangouts) and constantly interrupting, which all summed up made the experience terrible.
After the call I already knew it went bad, and was no surprise when recruiter called back some days after stating that we weren't going forward.
I think that if the process and environment had been correct, I would have had a radically better feedback.
