I applied for Glovo in Barcelona as it`s an exciting start-up. I was contacted by one of the recruiters to schedule the first call - it went ok, it was a classic first conversation in which I told her my experience, the projects I have been working on, the roles I have been recruiting for. The next step was a technical test that I have received on my email. Promised I will do it the next day and she asked me to send her a follow-up email after I finish, just for a heads-up, and so I did. This was on a Tuesday - I did not receive any confirmation that she received it but I thought that they will review it and come back with feedback. Instead, a week passed and still no answer. I contacted her to ask if they got the test and apparently she missed my email (I know it can happen so I thought ok, it was a mistake). Then I have received an invitation to the second interview after just half an hour - was a bit confused as the email was similar to the first one I have received at the start of the process. Discussed with them, scheduled the second interview and after one day they came back to me to cancel it. From a candidate perspective, I did not have the best experience during the process, it seemed a bit disorganised and I was left with a bitter taste. On the other hand, they are growing and probably they do not have the processes in place, but it would be nice to pay more attention to how they treat candidates and learn from these mistakes :).
