The interview began with a brief introduction to the company, followed by a technical discussion where they evaluated my knowledge of C#, .NET, and design patterns. They also asked about my previous experience, work approach, and how I handle different challenges. Overall, the process was clear, respectful, and professional.

Interview

Interview
This interview process was for the Game Studio, particularly for EA teams.
Had a total of three interviews. The first one was just a general interview where they asked my experience and things about me. I also took advantage to mention my expectations for this job.
Second interview was a technical interview with the basic C++ questions(whats "new", overloading vs overriding, vector vs list, etc) and the interviewer also told me about her job and in what team she worked.
Third interview was also technical in nature but a bit more advanced and with three other people. First part was C++(smart pointers, l-value vs r-value, C++ standards, etc). Second part was a bit of agile workflow questions and other general software work and the last part was a bit behavioral(why change jobs, why this job, etc)
Had a final meeting where they made the formal offer.
I declined for a few reasons. Most importantly the salary was not what I expected. They wanted to pay less than what I currently made (S/ 7000) and after listening to the team talk about their job I thought that it was not for me.
Being a client of EA they told me in detail their work for them and I quote "the code nightmare that is Origin, thats why EA just dumped it and built a new app".
Benefits were decent but nothing amazing. Good health insurance, monthly internet allowance while working remotely plus a few other minor things and whatever they are required to provide by law.
