Pretty standard recruiter screen. I applied multiple times over the years without getting past the recruiter screen, so I was quite excited to finally get a chance to interview for Glassdoor. I stopped the process when I was told about the details of the long-term incentive plan that is offered in lieu of stock. I'm not sure how lucrative offers were pre-acquisition, but now with their new ownership, Glassdoor is offering a well below market incentive offer where nothing vests until year 3 and is only worth ~ 1/3rd of stock that you'd get at a public bay area tech company over that same period. Maybe this is a great offer for someone who hasn't seen any liquidity from a startup (certainly better than zero), but they will struggle to recruit top talent if this is standard across roles.
