Long process and pay wasn't up to standards

Q: Can you tell me a little bit about yourself?
Q: Talk about the time you were working in a team?
Q: What would you do differently in that project if you had the chance?
Q: What would you do if someone in that project was not performing well?
Q: What would you do if you had to speak up about something (This was part of one of GM's core values)?
Q: What would you do to convince someone of an alternate path to take?
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at General Motors (GM) (Detroit, MI) in Jan 2022
Interview
Two hirevue coding exams. The first one is a leetcode easy/medium and the second one is hard. You have the opportunity to practice before hand. If you pass that stage you’ll have a hirevue recorded interview- 5 star questions.

Question 1
How did you overcome difficulties on past projects?
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at General Motors (GM) (Chicago, IL) in Oct 2021
Interview
Four rounds of interviewing:
1. First round was a HireVue asking 5-6 standard behavioral (STAR) style questions.
2. Second round was a 60 minute Hackerrank with 2 leetcode style question (easy difficulty level).
3. Third round was a 20 minute phone call with an engineer to set up the final round. More of a conversation than an "interview".
4. A two hour final round interview with two different engineering managers (one hour each). Each manager asked 4-5 standard behavioral (STAR) style questions. Note that the second interviewer didn't show up and then called shortly afterwards to reschedule - he had the wrong date in his calender.
All interviewers were very friendly! If you know basic coding and practice common STAR style behavioral questions (google them and you should be fine), the interview process is not very difficult!
