General Motors (GM) Entry Level - Software Developer interview questions

First was a resume pass. If you got through that, then they presented 5 STAR style interview questions that you would record and submit, then 2 quick cognitive games to play. Once those were reviewed, there were 2 coding questions that lasted 30 minutes each.

Step 1: Recorded STAR interview questions followed by 3 "games" via Hirevue Step 2: Two programming questions that each must be submitted within 30 minutes of starting Step 3: Phone Screening where they ask basic questions about your background and interests Step 4: Two back to back 1-hr interviews with current employees both asking behavioral STAR questions and one of them throwing in a few technical questions based on your resume The process was very slow, each step taking about 1-2 weeks apart. Everyone that interview me was nice and laid-back. After the final interviews I got an automated rejection email a week and a half later around midnight.
