General Motors (GM) Entry Level - Software Developer interview questions

1) Online hirevue behavioral interview - 4-5 behavioral questions with the option to redo each question once. - Three game based IQ tests where you basically just click shapes/do math. 2) Coding challenge - Two leetcode easy-medium problems with 30 minutes to complete each. 3) Phone screen - Overview of benefits, pay range, opportunity to ask questions, next steps, why do you want to work here? 4) Skype interview - Two, back to back, one hour each interviews. More behavioral questions and may touch on some technical aspects of your experience.

You start off with a HireVue interview where you record yourself answering 5 STAR type questions. Then you're given a coding challenge consisting of two questions. Each question asks you to manipulate binary strings and you have 30 minutes to complete each question. Next is a phone screening that lasts about 30 minutes. This is a very simple phone call where they gather basic info about you. Next is a two-hour interview over skype. There are no technical questions during this interview. They're all STAR type questions. Then you wait for your offer. The time from application to an offer was about a month.
