I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at General Atomics (San Diego, CA)
Interview
Interviewed by 9 people of various backgrounds , 30 min each person separately inside each of the employees personal office. It was an All day event. Some of the people interviewing were not directly related to the job and were more broad management level.

Question 1
What experiences have you had that relate to the job your applying for?
I applied online. I interviewed at General Atomics (San Diego, CA) in Jun 2018
Interview
Took forever to get a response after applying. Once I completed the phone screen, I was told I would get a call from HR, got handed off to another recruiter. After phone screen finally got scheduled to chat with Hiring Manager. Hiring manager was brief, held tight to 30 minutes. After interview, hiring manager said HR would reach back out and advise on next steps. After one week of not hearing back from anyone, left multiple messages with recruiter. No return call or email, nothing. Have no problem with not being selected (think I might have been a bit overqualified, meaning to much $'s), just wish the company could make the time and follow through and close the loop. People are the backbone of any company, and I'm amazed at the lack of personal interface expended to assess skill set and fit of management positions. That or these phone screens are blindingly accurate. Hope I didn't whine two much. Received a few other offers, so off to a new job I go. Good luck. Be patient.
