The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Gap (Londres, Inglaterra) in Jul 2008
Interview
Consisted of a 30 minute phone call with the store manager after having applied online. I was asked of customer service experiences both good and bad, I was also asked what I knew about GAP (do your homework). What I would say is most important would be to have a conversation with the manager, when asked "is there anything else?" which they will ALWAYS ask, thats leading you on to create conversation with the manager and show your social skills, speech etc, which is vital for sales and customer service.

The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Gap (Chicago, IL) in Jul 2010
Interview
It was pretty good. I learned a lot about the company. I didn't really want to work there though so I didn't get hired because I was not enthusiastic enough. Other than that, I have nothing but good things to say about the company
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Gap in Dec 2008
Interview
The interview was relatively easy but I had had retail experience before so I believe that helped. I sat down with one of the managers in the back room and she asked me a couple questions about what I knew about kids clothing (I interviewed for Gap Kids) and what I liked about retail and that sort of thing.
