I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Gap in Jul 2009
Interview
It was very laid back. The biggest thing is to state your case as to what you can deliver as an employee. Very simple for some people to do, however, others absolutely crash and burn. You need to be able to sell yourself as a passionate, motivated person that not only wants to be hired for the applied position, but plans on staying there to make changes and become a leader. Be sure to know what you can offer the company for it's growth, and also what the opportunities you think the company can provide for your growth as an individual. Be real.
I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Gap (Tampa, FL) in Nov 2011
Interview
The whole process was pretty simple. i applyed online and about 2 or 3 days later i recived a call for an interview. the inerview agenda was as follows: he told me about himself, then about the company, then i told him about myself, a few questions, then i had to choose an outfit in 5 minutes and answer some more question.
questions:
-Why do you want to work for gap?
-any prior experiance in retail?
-how would you break the ice?
-any experiance balencing work priorite?
(about outfit)
-Where would you wear this to?
-what would you do to change it to use for another occasion?
-how would you sell this to a customer?
the people there were exteremely friendly and welcoming.
