I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Gap
Interview
Filled out the application online and was called the next day for an interview. Got one that night. I wore more business-y Gap clothes to show that I knew the brand, and the manger noticed. I was asked questions off of a sheet and answered them to the best of my ability. It really wasn't that difficult. No putting outfits together like I've seen on here, but just talking, getting to know me, gettinga feel for what I am about and what I can bring to the store.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Gap in Nov 2012
Interview
Applied online and got a call about 4 days later. Set up the interview the next day and was please to see it was a group interview with 3 other girls. Most of the questions were normal retail questions, nothing too tricky. The interview was about 30 minutes (questions read from the company booklet.) Then we were asked to go pick an outfit that shows our style then explain it. Next the interviewer asked how we could dress that look up.
The whole thing was very casual, great experience all in all.
We were all told as long as our background checks were good she would give us a call. A day later I was hired.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
What has an employee done that you noticed was against policy? What did you do about it and what was the outcome?
I applied in-person. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Gap (City of London, England) in Sep 2011
Interview
The hiring process is generally three rounds, where first one is about telephonic interview. They ask you pretty generic questions, for me I thought they just called in to know if I spoke English well or not. Once that was done, they asked me to come to Gap for a Group discussion which is then succeeded by a 1:1 or sometimes 2:1 with manager(s).
