I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Gap (McAllen, TX) in Nov 2012
Interview
I applied on a Friday afternoon, they called me in for an interview the following Monday afternoon. You don't necessarily have to go dresses professionally for the interview. You go in your own style and add layers, a lot of Gap clothing is simple and basic and they want to see you can play around with style by layering anything. It was a group interview,There were four of us, two didn't show up. Questions they asked were mostly all about customer service! They had one or two scenarios. My advice is too be bubbly and outgoing, they don't want to hire quiet shy people.

Question 1
One thing we had to do is go out and find an outfit for a guy in any occasion. Make sure to LAYER!! Be descriptive when you have to describe why you chose the things you picked out.

Interview
I simply just submit an applications and two days later the GM called me for an interview which took about 25min. She wanted me to tell her about me, then go on for the two initial questions that first of all what do you think about good customer service?, second of all saying how would you handle the multitasking job environment especially during those holiday seasons? I pretty much answered the way I believe about customer by making an example of my experience from this particular GAP store. Also, about the multitasking, I'm super organized and well managing of time as making a priority of the tasks, so not much a big of a deal being a multitasker. The GM pretty much liked the whole answers I gave her, and got an offer after a day from the interview.
