I applied online. I interviewed at Gap (San Francisco, CA) in Nov 2016
Interview
Four part process if Gap, Inc. doesn't recruit on your campus:
(first applying online)
1. Math and behavior assessment
2. Phone interview -- do your research on the company and it is easy
3. New Brand Pitch Project -- requires 10-15 hours of work if you want to do it properly
4. Invited for trip to SF for in person interviews and brand pitch in end of Oct. / beginning of Nov.
Gap lets you know within three days of final interview whether you get the offer or not.
The process is exhausting if you do it properly and thoroughly research the company, but well worth it. Standard behavior questions (time you failed, what did you do in previous internships that will prepare you, etc.) Reading and researching about the program online pays off because you sound like you know what you are talking about.

Interview
You apply online, they then send you a 45 min online exam. If successful, will conduct a phone screening. I don't think they take your qualifications into consideration. I was surprised when they rejected me 2 times after the phone interview. I hold a master's degree in fashion, also have extensive experience. I feel they hire internally and the interview process is merely a tasl that needs to be completed by them.
I applied through college or university. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Gap (Columbus, OH) in Sep 2016
Interview
I met GAP at the career fair, then later that night attended an info session about the Rotational Management Program. They filled the in-person interview slots based on a first come first serve response using a google doc, so I had to schedule a phone interview. The phone interview was straightforward, but not conversational at all.
