I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Gap (Tulsa, OK) in Oct 2023
Interview
I applied online and received a call a few days later to schedule an interview with the store manager. She was super friendly on the phone and basically just asked me questions about availability and interest in Gap. The in-person interview was 1:1 and on the sales floor. The interviewer did selling roleplays with me to see how I'd interact with actual customers in different scenarios. I received a call a couple of days later with an offer.

Question 1
How would you greet a customer who frequents our store? How would you try to upsell items to a customer? How would you interact with a customer who was upset about their purchase? How would you try to get a customer to sign up for the Gap card? There were more scenarios but this was the general theme.

Interview
I applied online through the Gap website and received a call about 3-4 days later for an interview. The phone call was brief but the recruiter basically asked why I was interested in Gap and availability questions, then scheduled me for an in-person interview. The in-person interview wasn't the typical office interview. The interview was on the sales floor and I was asked to do selling roleplays with the interviewer. The interviewer was super friendly! I was contacted a couple days later with an offer.
