As soon as I was submitting the job application they asked me if I had time for an interview, right there and then. The interview lasted like around an hour and mainly questions about customer service. A week after they called to offer the job.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Most difficult was to demonstrate that even though I didn't have experience in a retail store I knew about customer service.
I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Gap in Sep 2014
Interview
Apply when a big holiday is coming up because you almost guarantee to get the job, about 1-5 days they will call you to set up an interview with one of the managers there. They will ask you simple questions like why you wanna work there, your previous employers why you left, your hobbies etc. Also they will go over the policies they have. If you get the job job then you are required to watch some videos thats probably like 3 hours long, good thing about that is that you still get paid for watching them
I applied online. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at Gap (Albuquerque, NM) in Jun 2014
Interview
Gap pursued me to hire. They told me there would only be one interview but there were three. Each with a different set of people. I found out later that they thought I was a gift because of my resume. However, they don't treat me in the fashion in which my experience would dictate. I have over 25 years experience doing this work and they treat me and everyone else like we are just out of college with no experience.

Question 1
There really wasn't anything difficult or unexpected at the interview except, they didn't ask normal employment questions. They asked situational questions. However, they did tout themselves as an easy going non-stressful and that they don't believe in micro management. To my chagrin and dismay, this didn't turn out to be true.
