Very straightforward. Application was sent in through the online portal and I received an email few weeks later that my resume has been selected. next day I received an email from my manager(now) for a phone interview. The questions were very basic, about my previous experience and general questions about strengths,weaknesses.
The process is strength based interviewing and not competency based so prepare behavioural questions and personality based questions. The recruiter and the scientists I spoke to were very nice and easy to talk to -- be yourself and remember to relax during the interview.
