I applied online. I interviewed at GSK in Jul 2023
Interview
After weeks of investing time and effort to do research, commute to their office three times for an interview, the HR ghosted me after my last interview. Rejection email is better than no email and it makes me wonder how they treat their employees if they treat an external party this way. To the HR: Treat all candidates with empathy.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
- tell me about your accomplishments backed by numbers - tell me about your strengths and weaknesses
Thank you for your review – we’re sorry you found your interview a disappointing experience. We take your feedback seriously, and we’ll be using it to make improvements.
It was very long winded. Many stages, poor communication, long wait times. I accepted another role as they were so inept. I think they need to streamline everything, and let you know within 48 hours about next stage.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at GSK (Londres, Inglaterra) in Mar 2021
Interview
Pretty quick process, recruiter competency based interview and then final stage with a case study and another round of competency questions which to me is a repetition.
The recruiter was so bad, no feedback provided and did not make the time to give me a call to explain the reasons why I did not get the role. I then emailed to ask for feedback and we scheduled a call for which she did not turn up to, pretending she was busy!!! Complete waste of time.
For a company like GSK, I would have expected at least some feedback given I made it to the final round. That is the problem with outsourcing the recruitment process to agencies such as Korn Ferry, they do not care about candidates! I would not apply again after this experience.
