I applied through college or university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at GLG (Austin, TX) in Oct 2011
Interview
First round consisted of two in-person fit interviews by analysts out of the NYC office, while the second-round interview revolved around a case of a typical assignment at GL and it was conducted through the phone. Interviewers place a lot of emphasis on the candidate's understanding of GL's business model. Be prepared to answer questions such as "Who are GL's clients? Given your knowledge of current affairs, what kind of assignments do you think we are getting at the moment?" All in all, a fairly straightforward process.
Fair and simple. Didn’t take long and didn’t have to wait a long time. Had 2 interviews and one assessment. The assessment was ok, a couple of questions and you were asked to analyze a case study
Relatively easy and quick process. There are a couple of interviews so you get exposure to a variety of leaders and employees and can hear multiple perspectives on the role. There is a case study in the process that gives you a taste of the actual work the employees do daily.
