I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at GE (Dammam) in Jun 2011
Interview
I was interviewed by 7 different people for an hour each. But it was a total waste of time. After reaching the final stage the company declined to offer probably due to financial contraints
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at GE (Kansas City, MO) in Jan 2012
Interview
I was contacted by a recruiter who set up my first meeting with the hiring manager. We discussed their goals and I told him that I can guarantee success because I've already lead a huge company through the exact same process. He was excited and a second phone interview was set up for two days later. This call only lasted about 30 minutes of the hour allotted time. This interviewer said that he could hear the confidence in my voice and that he felt I could bring them success based on my experience. He then said he would set up the third and last phone interview.
I never heard anything back for over a week and I contacted my recruiter who informed me that they have decided to go another direction for this position. I wasn't sure if I didn't meet their qualifications or if they genuinely chose to go in a different direction. Needless to say, they didn't call or email me to let me know that I was no longer being considered for this position. Instead I was under the impression that everything was going well and that I was waiting for the third interview to be set up.

Interview
Following interview with the recruiter, the hiring manager called me and we a long conversation. Which was very proffesional. We both concluded that while I could be a good fit to them, they will need me to relocated. They had the curtesy to tell me that very clearly
