I applied online and was asked to do a situational judgement online test. I had a competency based telephone interview afterwards that lasted for about 30 minutes. Questions asked were things like: why Ge? Why this program? Example of a time you taught yourself something in a short time.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at GE
Interview
Went through a phone interview with an HR representative then got called in for an on-site interview which consisted of lunch and three back-to-back interviews. Extremely friendly management and although they were very serious and focused, there was a sense of relaxation in the interviews. I received a call back a little less than a week later and received an offer. It seemed like a nurturing environment, conducive to professional/personal growth, however there is a large amount of certain for the future of the division with the recent buyout from Electrolux.
Two rounds and an HR round. The questions were mostly basic. The telephonic interview was mostly asking about experience. This was followed by face to face. Before going for the interview, make sure to carry some identity proof. If not, they can send you back from the gate.
