Tech leads typically take the initial round, asks about thesis work, projects and internships
HR asks about what motivates you in your field and why would you want to work with GE

Basic numerical techniques, gas dynamics, dissertation work for masters degree
The interview went well. The panel was friendly, and they asked several technical questions related to my field. I was able to answer most of them confidently. They also asked about my projects and some basic programming concepts. Overall, it was a good experience.

It was not easy, not so much of difficult. Basic concepts were asked to check the knowledge. Also some advanced topics were also asked like Kalman filters, PID and PD Controllers. It's usage and advantages in current scenarios
