Following my online application I received an email from a very friendly GE recruiting specialist in Milan requesting to schedule a phone interview, which we did. This interview was a generic profile screening as well as probably a test of English oral proficiency, essential for the role in play.
Around a week later I received a second email, characteristically named an "on-site interview e-invite" for a face to face interview with hiring manager or/and HR manager in our local site.
Several weeks later a 3rd email came in informing that my candidacy for the opening was no longer pursued by the company.
