      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at GE HealthCare in May 2022

      Interview

Brief chat about previous experience and why I wanted the role. It seemed promising but none ever got back to me. I changed up three times and no one had to decency to reply.

      Marketing Coordinator Interview

      Sep 20, 2015
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      Milwaukee, WI
      Declined offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at GE HealthCare (Milwaukee, WI) in Aug 2015

      Interview

Recruiter submitted my resume and arranged an in-person interview. I interviewed with two women and another woman who was phone-conferenced into the meeting. It was such a joke. The women weren't prepared at all, had no meaningful questions to ask me nor any structure to the interview. I was actually the one saying, "Maybe you'd like to hear about my background? Perhaps you'd like me to give an example?" It lasted about 25 minutes (only because I dragged it out) and they asked if I could start immediately that week. I deflected the question because I wasn't sure about the job and it always seems to be a red flag for disorganized nonsense if a company needs you to start mid-week like that. When they asked if I had any questions, I raised a concern that the job seemed very junior for my background, to which they had no actual response, they just "appreciated my transparency." The job description was looking for five plus years' experience, but, after speaking to them about the role, it was basically an events/office assistant. They needed someone to make name badges and send out post-event surveys online. The position was also part-time (which I didn't know about beforehand) and would have a hard end date several months later (also not ideal). I'd been hesitant about the position but went to the interview because they hadn't balked at my salary requirement of $27 per hour. After the interview, it was clear that it wasn't for me and the job would be much better suited to a couple of interns to get some experience. (And then the company would save a salary too - but maybe GE Heatlhcare is too big to care about that?) If they'd have provided a more accurate job description, it would have saved everyone's time, but based on the employee incompetence I saw during the interview, I understand why that didn't happen.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Can you use computer programs? Do you know about online surveys? Do you have customer service experience? Can you start this week?
