I had an interview scheduled with the recruiter and all communications were positive. However, four minutes before I was supposed to have my phone screen, I was sent an automated email that said the role was on hold and the interview was canceled. However, then I received another automated reminder that the interview was going to be taking place. It was unprofessional that the recruiter didn't bother to reach out to me to confirm there was a cancellation (especially 4 minutes before our call). Next time let a candidate know a bit before rather than wasting our time!
